๐ Project Summary:
SwiffyLabs is a Bengaluru-based fintech startup building full-stack digital lending infrastructure for banks, NBFCs, fintechs, and wealth managers. I was part of the UI/UX design team, contributing to the development of the Loan Against Securities (LAS) module โ a platform enabling financial institutions to offer instant credit lines against a wide range of pledged securities, including stocks, mutual funds, bank-held and self-held assets.
๐ Project Scope:
The LAS module allows users to pledge eligible securities as collateral and instantly access funds. The system supports both self-initiated pledges and bank-managed pledging, with real-time status tracking, risk scoring, and disbursal mechanisms.
๐งฉ My Contributions:
- Flow Mapping: Designed end-to-end user journeys โ from borrower onboarding and eligibility screening to collateral selection, pledge confirmation, and loan tracking
- Wireframes & Mockups: Created intuitive wireframes and pixel-perfect mockups for:
- Securities selection (stocks, mutual funds, etc.)
- Pledge review with market-linked LTV (Loan to Value)
- Disbursal summary and repayment view
- UI Components: Developed modular UI elements aligned with the internal design system for use across multiple lending products
- UX Refinement: Optimized flows for clarity during conditional actions (e.g., insufficient holdings, pledge rejections, or margin calls)
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participated in sprint planning, working closely with product managers and engineers to refine UX based on real-world lending rules and compliance constraints
๐งช Design Process:
- User Research: Collaborated with product to define primary users โ including borrowers, bank relationship managers, and internal loan processing agents
- Competitor Review: Benchmarked UX against platforms like Zerodha LAS, Paytm Money LAS, and HDFC Securities
- Iteration: Participated in regular design critiques and stakeholder reviews to improve usability and address edge cases
- Handoff: Delivered final prototypes and annotations for development using Figma
๐ ๏ธ Tools Used:
- Figma โ UI Design, Components, Prototyping
- FigJam / Notion โ User flows and team collaboration
๐ Confidentiality Notice:
This project was part of a confidential NDA-bound release. A public link is not available. Design visuals (screenshots/mockups) can be shown upon request or as part of a private portfolio.
